Facebook Disabled My Account — How to Appeal & Reinstate
Facebook disabled accounts for policy violations, suspicious activity, or identity issues. You typically have 30 days to file a successful appeal before the account is permanently removed.
Steps to Appeal a Disabled Facebook Account
Visit facebook.com and attempt to log in. If disabled, you'll see "Your Account Has Been Disabled" with an option to "Request Review."
Click "Request Review" and fill out the form. Explain clearly that you believe the account was disabled in error, or acknowledge the violation and explain corrective action taken.
If prompted, upload a government-issued ID to verify your identity.
Wait for Meta's response — typically 1–14 days. Check the email associated with your account.
If the first appeal is rejected, you may submit one additional appeal. Use different wording and additional evidence.
